Family Sessions are slowly becoming one of my favorite things to photograph. Especially when you get to photograph a backyard family session in a place as gorgeous as this backyard was! Backyard Family Sessions can sometimes be a tricky place for lighting, but when they are a sunset session, the lighting opportunity opens up endless possibilities. This session was originally suppose to be an early afternoon session, and I am so glad it worked out for a sunset session!
The Lexow Family is a multigenerational family with such amazing people. They have two children, Jennifer and Kevin, and they each have several children of their own. Their daughter Jennifer lives in the valley with her sweet hubby and their three children. Their son Kevin and his wife Laura, flew in all the way from Chicago last week amongst all the travel delays. Momma was just thankful they were able to make it and was not going to let the opportunity pass without getting some wonderful family pictures. How fun is that? I love when large families are all able to get together for the first time in awhile, and then have pictures taken to remember the times shared together.
The Lexow grandchildren range from ages 7 months old, the cutest little boy ever, all the way up until teenage years. Which made picture taking even more fun because we got so many different variety shots. I think hands down one of our favorite shots of the evening was when sweet 7 month old Cole, went to get a picture with his momma and decided to give her a sweet little present of bringing up his dinner mid photograph. Other than that little incident, he hardly fussed the entire session and it was amazing!
I absolutely love the photographs at the end of the session when all the older grandkids got together and were having a good time. It can be tricky getting older kids to want to take good photos for you but they did wonderful. Lexow Family it was an absolute pleasure to help you remember these wonderful times with your family! Thank you for choosing Chandler Fulton Photography to be your family photographer. It truly was an honor and I absolutely love how wonderful these turned out!
