I had the wonderful opportunity to photograph Amanda and Cayman’s engagement session at Papago Park this past Saturday. It is finally October, which means the weather is cooling down! And with cooler weather, we start to get beautiful evenings here in Arizona. I honestly do not think I have ever been so excited for the weather to finally start to drop again. As much fun as it is photographing sessions during the hot weather, I am definitely looking forward to this upcoming month with some cooler temperatures!
This engagement session with Amanda and Cayman was so special. They are getting married next June in Colorado. Can we talk about how gorgeous that will be?! I am so excited for them! As with destination weddings though, comes all the hassle of figuring out how you will manage to get everything done from a different location. One of those main factors is getting engagement photos done for you and your sweet hunny, but also for your Save the Date’s.
I could not of been more excited when Amanda reached out asking if I could squeeze her and Cayman into my schedule this fall because she loved my photography. I immediately said “Yes we will find a way!” And I am ever so thankful we did because they turned out absolutely gorgeous! The love that these two have for each other is undeniable! The smiles, the laughter, and the adore in their eyes as they shared moments throughout our session was so beautiful. I am pretty sure we laughed the majority of the session because these two have such a wonderful time together. Also, can we also talk about hair goals because I would definitely die to have her beautiful hair!
Amanda and Cayman met when they attended Colorado State University. They both grew up in Colorado which made attending CSU an obvious choice for both of them. Amanda however, decided to attend PA school in Arizona which is what led them both to move out here a few years ago. She now is a Physician Assistant at Healing Hearts Pediatrics. Cayman decided he was going to follow her out here and now works in the technology field. He asked his beautiful bride to be, to be his wife last November while they were visiting the beautiful Red Rocks in Sedona.
Amanda and Cayman, thank you so much for allowing me the opportunity to photograph your engagement session. It was truly and honor! The love you both share is contagious and I cannot wait for you both to enjoy your Happily Ever After together!
